Hi Shruthi,
After removing the roles in CUA system, please run Distribution on the errors in SCUL. If it still shows as errors, then you might have not removed exceeded roles from the user, so remove more role assignments from user in CUA.
If the above tip does not work, then go to the child system and check the Inbound errors in BD87. If there are any errors please re-process them, so that it should solve the problem.
