Hi Everyone,
I've got a bit of a query which has rendered me quizical recently.
Scenario-
1. There is an Org Unit, say X which has 10-15 different Org Units (mixed regions, with different personnel areas) reporting under it and employees reporting to them.
2. A PM (Performance Management) Admin needs to perform changes on the contract status of employees from his region which may be reporting to any of 5-6 different Org Units from the bunch reporting to X.
3. The PM Admin has been given the following authorizations -
a) On Role Level - Org Values - Personnel Areas - A1 to A10, Employee Group/Subgroup *, Auth Profile - PMX
P_HAP_DOC - ACTVT - 02,03,06
b) On PD Profile Level - O object -> ID that of Org Unit X (Maintainable)
4. Now when the Admin performs PHAP_ADMIN Tcode, the admin can maintain contracts of employees of Org Unit X, but outside the Org Value domain too (Outside Personnel Areas A1 to A10)
Query -
1. If a top Org Unit maintainable access is provided by the PD Profile (Person object P is authorized), would the Org Values (Personnel Area) not be a factor to restrict maintenance of the contract at all?
Note: PM Admins can however not see any employees in PA20 or PA30 outside A1 - A10.
2. Would there be a case where Personnel Area can be used as a field in P_HAP_DOC to resolve such a case?
